Trial of The Constellations Boss Difficulties & Rewards
Trial of The Constellations is currently in its beta season, with a total of 3 different bosses available for players to challenge:
- Scion of Hellfire Magnar (Fire)
- Scion of Frosttide Aquina (Ice)
- Scion of Verd Herais (Earth)
Each boss is divided into 4 different difficulties (Hard, Hell, Nightmare and Perudition) with each difficulty increasing in the amount of stats, effects and gimmicks players will have to deal with in order to clear the trials.
The rewards of each trial will increase the higher the difficulty you choose to challenge and importantly, each trial will only give you a 1 time reward every month, so you should try to clear the highest possible difficulty for each trial in order to obtain the best amount of rewards. You can obtain a reward from each trial once a month, making it 3 rewards each month.
To challenge these Trials of The Constellations, players will need highly invested heroes with fully built gears, so in order to best farm these gears, players should take full advantage of LDPlayer’s amazing the best Android Emulator on PC.
Blessings of The Stars & Hero Rankings
Before starting the fights in Trial of The Constellations, players will have access to the special Blessings of The Stars, where you can assign special heroes in different hero slots in order to receive specific buffs for different trials that can make the trials much easier.
The Blessings of the Stars are divided into different sections:
- Leo: General Buffs to All Heroes of All Elements
- Libra: Buffs to Fire Heroes, Make Scion of Verd Herais (Earth) Trials easier.
- Aries: Buffs to Ice Heroes, Make Scion of Hellfire Magnar (Fire) Trials easier.
- Virgo: Buffs to Earth Heroes, Make Scion of Frosttide Aquina (Ice) Trials easier.
In order to activate each buff, players will need to assign heroes onto the different star sign’s hero slots in order to calculate their hero points. Upon reaching a certain hero point threshold, specific buffs will be activated for the different star signs, granting beneficial effects based on the star sign. Hero Ratings are dependent on the assigned hero’s total and the Assigned hero will not be able to participate in the Trial, so choose your heroes carefully.
To unlock more Hero slots to assign heroes and obtain more buffs, players will need to spend Constellation Points gained by defeating the bosses previously, making this a gradual process that will eventually make all of the trials easier the longer you play the mode.
Epic Seven Trial of The Constellations Guide - Perudition Difficulty Boss Gimmicks & Best Teams
Scion of Hellfire Magnar Fire Trial Perudition Difficulty Guide - Gimmicks & Best Teams
Scion of Hellfire Magnar is the Fire Trial and requires players to build a full team of Ice Heroes to participate. There are several important gimmicks that players need to pay attention to in this trial and against the boss:
- This is a DPS check trial, with a cooldown that will countdown whenever the boss takes special actions, so players will need to complete the fight as quickly as possible.
- The boss will take action after allies have taken 7 actions and will not move until you do a total of 7 actions, so heroes’ speed does not matter.
- The boss will gain 20% Constellation energy everytime it moves and upon reaching 100%, will deal a strong AoE attack against all allies. You can decrease the energy by 20% every time an ally inflicts the Defense Decrease Debuff on the boss. Upon reaching 0%, the boss will be inflicted with a Decrease Defense Special Debuff for 1 turn.
- At 70% and 40%, the boss will unleash the seal for his lamps minions and they will start to take action whenever the boss attacks, the first lamp will inflict 1 burn debuff on all allies when taking action and the 2nd lamp will grants the boss an Immunity buff and decrease the counter by 1 every time it take action.
The best team players can bring to this trial should consist of heroes that can consistently deal strong damage while also being able to inflict the Defense Decrease Debuff on the boss consistently to prevent the boss from dealing big damage.
The best team for this trial is:
- Chloe (DPS Build): High Damage Build
- Taranor Guard (/DPS Build): Consistent Defense Decrease Debuffer and DPS
- Tywin (Tank/): Tanky build to tank enemies’ attacks and high effectiveness for consistent Defense Decrease Debuffs.
- Fenne (DPS/Healer): High Damage DPS with the ability to heal all allies.
*Special Note: If you have a good enough built and invested Fenne (Maxed Crit Damage, 2k+ Attack, 22k+ HP, 85% Crit Rate), you can solo this boss with Fenne herself if you do enough damage.
Scion of Frosttide Aquina Ice Trial Perudition Difficulty Guide - Gimmicks & Best Teams
Scion of Frosttide Aquina is an Ice Trial that requires you to bring a full team of Earth Hero. It is the second trial you should challenge after Magnar.
The trial’s gimmicks and important things to note includes:
- This is a DPS check trial, with a cooldown that will countdown whenever the boss takes special actions, so players will need to complete the fight as quickly as possible.
- The Boss will increase its Constellation energy by 10% every time it takes a turn and will initiate a strong attack once the bar reaches 100%. To decrease the Constellation Energy, players will need to use Conterattacks, either from buffs or from the hero's innate kits, each counterattack will decrease the energy by 20% and upon reaching 0%, the boss will be inflicted with a speed down special debuff.
- Upon attacking with her special attacks, if the team does not have the Immunity buff, the boss will inflict Stigma and unable to buff against the entire team and deal massive amounts of damage to allies. Every attack from the boss will inflict injuries, reducing the max HP of all allies by a massive amount.
- Upon reaching 70% HP, the boss will summon a clone of herself that will do a dual attack of the same skill the boss use after the boss uses an attack. And at 40% HP, the boss will gain a special buff, increasing her speed massively and removes 5 souls every time she attacks.
This trial is a trial in of both damage and survivability, with players needing characters with both consistent Immunity Buff For The Entire Team as well as consistent Counterattacks
The best heroes for this trial are:
- Charles/ Ervalen (DPS build): High DPS Character with consistent Counterattack buffs to reduce the enemy’s constellation energy.
- Roana/Young Senya/Ray (Healers): You will need to bring at least 2 out of 3 options for healing purposes, with Ray being able to apply Immunity buff for the entire team, Roana being able to heal when the team is attacked by dual attacks and Young Senya for utility and counter attacks.
- Laika (): Laika is a good er with the ability to proc dual attack with the highest attack ally, providing all allies with Immunity buff and increase the combat readiness of allies.
Scion of Verd Herais Earth Trial Perudition Difficulty Guide - Gimmicks & Best Teams
Scion of Verd Herais is the Earth trial and is the last trial that players should challenge. He requires players to have a full team of Fire heroes to challenge.
*Special Note: Due to the high difficulty of Scion of Verd Herais Earth Trial, players should obtain the 2nd buff from the Libra Blessings of The Stars before challenging the Perudition difficulty of this boss.
The boss gimmicks and things of note are as followed:
- This is a survival battle, meaning players will need to survive until the cooldown of the trial reaches 0 in order to win.
- The boss will gain 5% Constellation energy everytime an ally takes a turn and will lose 15% energy for every stack of Burn Debuffs inflicted on him. Upon reaching 0%, the boss will take a portion of damage to his HP.
- Once the boss takes his turn, he will deal A Big AOE attack proportional to his current HP, the higher the HP, the more damage he deals, so players need to reduce his HP as much as possible before he does this AoE attack.
- Upon reaching lower trial cooldown, the boss will summon mobs that can raise the Constellation Energy and Heal the boss, so players need to inflict Burn on these mobs to defeat them as quickly as possible.
This trial hinders on the survival of the team and the consistent ability to inflict Burn Debuffs on the boss. Please note that due to how RNG and difficult this fight is, it is recommended that you challenge this fight last.
The best Heroes to bring to this fight are:
- Researcher Carrot/Aramintha/Robin (Burn Enabler): All 3 of the above options are amazing characters with the ability to inflict multiple stack of burns, so it is highly recommended that you bring at least 2 of the 3 options for consistent burn debuffs.
- Holiday Yufine (DPS build/Burn Enabler): If you have unlocked the 2nd Libra buff for this trial then bringing Holiday Yufine to the fight is a must as she will inflict burn, heal the team and even cleanse debuffs for the entire team.
- Mascot Hazel (Healer): If you want more healing options, you can use Mascot Hazel for the easiest heals.
